You photograph the room with the old floor covering or say briefly what's coming out and what's going in. The AI suggests line items for strip-out, subfloor, levelling compound, impact sound underlay, floor covering and skirting, with quantities. You check, price it with your hourly rate and send the quote as a PDF.
Where flooring quotes go wrong
The subfloor decides
Under the old carpet the screed is uneven, under the PVC there's stubborn adhesive. CM moisture test, grinding off adhesive, bonding primer, smoothing compound: if you don't quote for the subfloor, you pay for it yourself.
Not every floor covering is the same
Click vinyl floating, LVT fully bonded, AC4 laminate, engineered parquet floating or solid parquet glued and oiled. Each option needs different line items, a different underlay, a different amount of time.
The small stuff adds up
Skirting in running metres, threshold strips at every door, trimming door frames, cutting round heating pipes, disposing of the old floor. Small on their own, together often half a day that's missing from the quote.
How you get to your flooring quote

Take photos of what's there or say in your language what needs doing: carpet out, skim the screed, click vinyl with impact sound underlay, white skirting, two threshold strips.

Line items from the catalogue
The AI recognises the work and suggests line items from the catalogue of services with materials and labour time, from removing the old floor through levelling compound to skirting. The quantities are a suggestion; you check them against your own measurements.

Check and send
You change quantities, add a laying pattern such as herringbone or diagonal and enter your own prices. Everything is calculated with your hourly rate. The quote goes out by email as a PDF with your logo.

The app calculates materials and labour time from the catalogue and your hourly rate. The line items appear in German, exactly as your customer sees them in the quote. You check every line before the quote goes out.

Is the flooring software free?
Prices haven't been set yet. Signing up is free and without obligation. You'll hear the terms before flooring launches.
Which floor coverings and services does the app know?
Click vinyl, glue-down LVT, laminate, cork, linoleum, PVC, engineered parquet and solid parquet. Plus removal of old coverings, subfloor preparation with levelling compound and bonding primer, impact sound underlay, laying patterns such as herringbone or diagonal, sanding and sealing parquet, skirting and profiles.
Can I enter my own material prices?
Yes. You enter your own prices for every line item, and everything is calculated with your hourly rate. Reading in wholesale prices via DATANORM comes later.
Can the AI work out the room size from the photo?
The AI suggests quantities, but it doesn't replace measuring up. It's best to give the area as well. You check and change every quantity before the quote goes out.
Can I use the app in English?
Yes, the app is available in 22 languages, including English. You describe the job in your language, and the app creates the quote for the customer in German.
Can the customer accept the quote online?
Digital quote acceptance is planned, as is e-invoicing as XRechnung or ZUGFeRD. For now you send the quote as a PDF by email.
